The "After" Shots

Today is Wednesday, April 8.  The new custom drapes for the master bedroom were just delivered, the painting is completed, and the artwork has been put back up; therefore, it is time for some "after" shots of the condo!  The only thing left to be delivered are the two chairs from Colineal.  They are due in the last week of this month.  We'll put those chairs in the "den" area to watch TV.

We had the interior repainted in two colors: an off white, and a taupe-like color.  The original paint was about 4 different colors.  3 of the colors were "sort of OK;" however, the 4th color (on most of the walls) had too much pink in the white for our tastes.  Everything looks crisp and clean now!  I hope the colors show well in the pictures!  The condo is full of sunlight (we're THIS close to the equator, afterall!) so it is difficult to take good pictures with my iPhone.

The "before" photos are the pictures as we first saw the condo last year.  We replaced the living room furniture, kept all of the bedroom and office furniture, and re-arranged the pieces and artwork.

Notice the new blind.

...and less of the peachy/pink paint

The colorful oil painting has grown on us.  We call it "The Abuelas" (The Grandmothers)

The new drapes

The walls look green, but it is just the light. They are actually the same off white color on the rest of the walls.

As I'm typing this, our handyman just dropped off a shoe shelf that he custom made for us.  It is for keeping shoes on near the front door (in the elevator lobby)  It is sized for American-sized shoes!

On a "non-condo" topic, I'm just about fully over my cold......just in time for Tom to catch it!  We're having a busy week of dinners, lunches and parties.   Now that things around the condo have settled down, we will be able to get out & about more; therefore, I'll start posting some information about our walks around town.  We've seen everything from a Mexican circus to a "super RV" on the streets - and just about everything inbetween!
